sinjun Posted December 12, 2017 Share #1 Posted December 12, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I must say I was very tempted by the simplicity of the M-D when it came out. It occurred to me I could achieve the same effect with a flip-back half-case, and I find it works well. This one, from Patagonean, was made to accommodate my Thumbie. Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Hi sinjun, Take a look here M9-D. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Ko.Fe. Posted December 12, 2017 Share #2 Posted December 12, 2017 (edited) I had the same idea for M9 and had same made for M8. But not so sure if I'll order again from him. My M8 case of similar design, minus back cover became loose within few weeks... Nice Thumbie, BWT, makes more sense comparing to those for the hotshoe. Edited December 12, 2017 by Ko.Fe. sinjun Posted December 13, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted December 13, 2017 Hope mine lasts longer than yours... Yes, Thumbie is great. Really solid and unobtrusive, making a surprisingly large difference to handling and security of grip - whilst keeping hotshoe free.
Archiver Posted December 15, 2017 Share #4 Posted December 15, 2017 I have a M9 half-case from Luigi that has a similar detachable flap. I never use it, but that's not a bad idea.
