Guest Posted November 26, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 26, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have just found out that the on/off switch on my M10 isn't functioning properly, mostly not turning off at all. So what I initially thought was a firmware or even a SD card problem when I looked at an image in "Play" and the image stayed on-screen even after I turned the camera off was in fact due to the on/off switch not working. I wondered why my battery life has recently been so short! So, it's off the Solms ASAP. Has anyone else experienced this?

jdlaing Posted November 26, 2017 Share #2 Posted November 26, 2017 Sending it to Solms May never get it back. Try Wetzlar.

albertknappmd Posted November 28, 2017 Share #4 Posted November 28, 2017 you will have it back soon.. Probably a minor glitch but have them inspect and test the entire camera while it is there. Albert
Guest Posted November 29, 2017 Share #5 Posted November 29, 2017 Hello Albert, Leica swiftly sent me a UPS pick-up label and the camera should land in Wetzlar today or tomorrow. I've got a good contact there and I'm sure it'll be looked after well and back to me soon.......and yes I've also asked them to look at a couple of other things too, check the ASA knob to make sure it's ok and re-align / check the RF. I've had nothing but good experiences with Leica in regards to repairs and servicing so I've no worries for the M10, anyway I've got back-up with a M240, a MM1 and other gear.
