"Me here at last on the ground, you in midair"

This is a real delight Rob, one for the memory book for sure.  Should also thank you for today's "stuck in my head" tune.

Yes, thank you, Jayne.  "Send in the Clowns" has been 'playing' now since posting this photo. I thought I could 'release' it by passing into my friends here, but that does not seem to have worked either. :)  Rob

First shots with my new TL-35.  Love this lens.  Someone on the forum said they thought it was too clinical, but I find it has quite soft gradation without losing sharpness, which is very flattering for portraits.  The first one is of me, taken by my wife (another benefit of having an autofocus camera!)

TL-35.  This one is heavily cropped but I think it still works -- almost an abstract, painterly quality.  Curious to know what others think.

A very graphic picture. A 50mm lens is on of my favourites on the CL.

Thanks. Yes the 50mm is great if I'm outside but I find it quite a constraint inside when space is more constrained. But I'm making a deliberate effort to spend more time working with longer focal lengths (longer than 10mm that is!) and to find different framings for familiar subjects.
