Thank you very much. Appreciate the feedback. I do sometimes struggle with what should be B&W and colour. Most of the time I process both and then agonise!

Josh, I really liked  both your color and B/W shots. I enjoyed the way you captured the light, and then your PP.

Love the expression. How do you find using non Leica lenses on the CL? The results look good but any issues?

Thanks, Josh.

I have been using Nikkor lenses on T almost 98% of time and really enjoyed it. No problem what so ever.

CL gave me a little problem till I could find a way. CL has a lens profiling that is only for Leica R and M; not for a third party. Therefore, magnification through the top right wheel is not activated. I am using the Novoflex adapter that has no electrical connection with the camera, and so, the camera doesn't recognize the lens to function correctly.

But while playing with the camera,  I discovered that even with a third MF lens, (although the top wheell is not working), you can still have a magnification by pushing the top/down arrow, on the right side of the LCD. Therefore, when I turn the camera on, I magnify the subject first, focus, then, half pushing the release makes it disappear, and you can frame and shoot... I wonder if this technique is not even better or faster than using the top right wheel! But I got used to it and it works perfectly well for me.

I use focus peaking to focus my M lenses without magnification and it works well. Does this work with Nikor
Lenses? I plan to order a Novoflex to use my Nikon lenses. Continuing to enjoy your work especially with Nikon
Lenses.
Thanks, Dan

Thanks. Good to know. Leica lenses are traditionally expensive what is the next best alternative that works with the CL in your opinion?

Very nice!  IMHO though, a cooler or neutral interpretation of the monochrome may have been effective.

Yes, focus peaking is also working with MF third party lenses. But somehow, I feel more comfortable with magnification. I can see the real effect and control the background (bokeh). ;)

Josh, as a long time Nikon user, I only have old Nikkor lenses that I really very much enjoy. I guess if you have the M adapter, you could also  use the excellent Zeiss and Voigtlander lenses with M mount. But there are many other excellent lenses too. For instance, I have seen excellent results with some Canon lenses. With the proper adapter, you can use any lens.

I'm a big fan of your shots, Louis, but in this one the light/contrast is a bit apocalyptic for me. ;)
