What an amazing wall garden, Dippy. It just shows that a prime lens need not be restrictive but always a low weight alternative when  travelling.

The TL 35mm was a great choice I concluded. It took me through the day and into the evening  and handled both indoors and out. I much prefer shooting with primes and if I have to do the odd pano to compensate then, so what! I also carried the CV 10mm f5.6 but only put it on the camera once in 3 days.

Hi Dippy,

Lovely photo!

Same place?  Mine taken with the 18-56 in July 2018.

Regards, Rob

Back from a couple of days in Paris. I chose the TL 35mm as my walkaround lens over the 18-56 or 11-23. I was very pleased with the decision.

It looks  like it Rob but when you were there the flowers were white. It looks like they are being grown in window boxes so maybe they change them every year or two?

Professionally created. I love my TL 35 and have found it creates dramatic bokeh and macro too. I’m away from my computer for two weeks in Northern Minnesota. I’ll try to keep up with everyone’s photographs. 🕺

I have been testing some vintage lenses, this time a 135 f4 Tele Xenar from a Kodak Retina Reflex, has been in a box in my attic. At first it seemed a little low contrast, the glass is clear. So these photos are after I put a lens shade on the lens. I know flowers again, really liking some of the cityscapes in this thread, but I live in the country.

My backyard,  cl, 23mm 100 ISO 30s @f 7.1

Hi. Tell me George, did you have that backyard in 2001? Around september?

I'm feeling a bit left out. So. . .

Bus shelter in Brooklyn(18-55), and a crappy food festival in Queens (55-135).

Also, how does everyone here protect their work?
