Advertisement Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Hi Jodad, Take a look here Magnifier for IIIg focus/RF window?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
a.noctilux Posted November 20, 2017 Share #2 Posted November 20, 2017 No, I have never heard of such thing. Leitz must think that this is not necessary and didn't provide a way to attach it on IIIg. But I'm pleased that the diopter correction is built in the RF (not on M !).
Jodad Posted November 20, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted November 20, 2017 Oh that's a pity! I wonder is there are any such 3rd party manufactured attachments. I will keep looking. Thanks a lot f/0.
a.noctilux Posted November 20, 2017 Share #4 Posted November 20, 2017 Even with Summilux 50mm (err... Canon LTM 1.2/50 ), with the diopter adjust, the focus is accurate enough and remember the x1.5 loupe built-in already. With IIIg, I have "better focus feel" than M3 (older than IIIg ) with long throw focus ( 1.4/50 or that LTM Canon 1.2/50).
Jodad Posted November 20, 2017 Author Share #5 Posted November 20, 2017 Fair enough. Maybe a clean on the lens will help!
