Nikon Coolscan repair and cleaning service

Just a heads up. Some guys have posted on another forum how pleased they are with the rapid and effective service they received from this guy who's in his retirement but working full time for the love of it. The ebay link refers to 8000 and 9000 scanners but it seems any repair to any coolscan might be on the cards; 3D printing, cleaning etc. If you've a coolscan, it might be worth enquiring about a clean and service whilst he's still active.

I haven't first hand knowledge of his service. I don't have a coolscan.

I believe he might have scanners for sale, too, as he buys non-functioning units and repairs them.

I am using a Coolscan V regularly with no problems, and there's a Coolscan III in the loft, and a pc which would take a scsi card too if I get desparate!
