Feature Request - Adding L Log mode to M240 Video

I noticed Leica SL has this option available, and wondered what would be the best approach to request such feature in M240?

This appears to me as simple as adding a curve to existing video modes, hence, very feasible.

Can that be a FW update or extra hardware is needed (means new M240 successor => negligible probability)

I believe this is as simple as adding an extra gamma profile in the menu. Currently there is Vivid, Smooth and B&W. Smooth isn’t bad, but adding something closer to Log (for example Fillmic app for iPhone has Log which is rather noisy and Flat which is very useful) would be great and it doesn’t require much work. As said, it only requires extra profile and some curve like Flat in Filmic app would have been awesome.
