And more gulls, not with a Thambar (I sold the three I had many years ago), but just because they offer always an elegant subject to aim at. Theses images were taken yesterday on the seafront of Olhão, Algarve, South Portugal).

One of the main virtues of the Lumix Leica DG 200/2.8 is bird portraits. It delivers very well with a lot of Leica pop and lovely background bokeh, imho. This is a nuthatch, taken with the 200/2.8+TC1.4 (280mm) on the Panasonic G9.

Both taken with CL and Varior-Elmarit-R 80-200 and APO2X at 200mm.  In the first shot, American Avocets, Whimbrels, a Lesser Yellowlegged Sandpiper at far left near the middle, a seagull in the upper left and a stranded fish in the shallows between the two, this all at extreme low tide.  In the second shot, a Giant Egret and above it the reflection of a Snowy Egret.
