willeica Posted November 2, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 2, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Here is a review of the excellent Classic Case for the Leica M10 which is made in Scotland by Paul Glendell. Paul also provided a magnificent strap to go with the case. http://macfilos.com/photo/2017/10/23/classic-case-of-scotch-quality-cover-for-leicas-m10 William

pedaes Posted November 2, 2017 Share #3 Posted November 2, 2017 Sorry William, still dosn't fit like a Arte di Mano. One example of detail, the CC case has a straight cut under the screen, where the AdM has a 'step' after the buttons to follow the line on the camera (appologies for dust on rear screen!). willeica Posted November 2, 2017 Author Share #4 Posted November 2, 2017 Sorry William, still dosn't fit like a Arte di Mano. One example of detail, the CC case has a straight cut under the screen, where the AdM has a 'step' after the buttons to follow the line on the camera (appologies for dust on rear screen!). Thanks. I'd be looking at the cases for a long time before I'd notice a detail like that. I am very pleased with the Classic Case. William
marcg Posted November 2, 2017 Share #5 Posted November 2, 2017 But of course the Arte di Mano costs an arm and a leg. The Classic probably only costs a leg
jaapv Posted November 3, 2017 Share #6 Posted November 3, 2017 Maybe, but the difference in quality and fit from these photographs is striking.
willeica Posted November 3, 2017 Author Share #7 Posted November 3, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Maybe, but the difference in quality and fit from these photographs is striking. I am very pleased with the fit of the Classic Case on my M10. As for the quality, somebody would need to compare the items side by side. I don't have an Arte De Mano case to hand in order to make a comparison. There are also many other cases on the market if somebody would like to do a giant test. PaulJohn Posted November 24, 2017 Share #8 Posted November 24, 2017 My classic case fits like a glove and removes easily to access card and battery. Can’t fault it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
