writelucky Posted October 30, 2017 Share #1 Posted October 30, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Heard that the zeiss 35mm f2 nikon or canon ef mount is an excellent lens. Just wandering if anyone has tried using this lens on an M240 with a canon to leica or nikon to leica mount adapter?
Advertisement Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Hi writelucky, Take a look here Zeiss 35mm f2 Distagon (canon or nikon) on M240 with adapter?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
rivi1969 Posted November 6, 2017 Share #2 Posted November 6, 2017 A friend of mine owns a 240 and tried one of those zeiss lenses, (don’t remember which mount) at the end he prefered my Zeiss ZM 35mm f2 Biogon, no need for adapters, for EVFs and the IQ is awesome.

SilentShutter Posted November 7, 2017 Share #4 Posted November 7, 2017 If it´s a matter of money go for the Summarit and spare this messing around with adapters.
writelucky Posted November 7, 2017 Author Share #5 Posted November 7, 2017 Not really a matter of money. Read that its one of the best lenses to have but unfortunately its on a nikon or canon mount.
Peter Wright Posted November 7, 2017 Share #6 Posted November 7, 2017 Hope you are not confusing this with the M mount Zeiss 35mm f/1.4 Distagon. Many say that this is the best 35mm you can put on an M camera. I own one (as well as the f/2 Biogon) and think they may well be right. I have no experience of the nikon/canon 35mm by Zeiss, but I think it is a different design, and I have never heard that it competes with the above 35mm f/1/4.
