Advertisement Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Hi Kamyar, Take a look here 16 mm lenses. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
thighslapper Posted October 20, 2017 Share #2 Posted October 20, 2017 I think we need more information to help ...... If you mean 'can I attach this lens to an SL/TL2?' then theoretically yes ..... if you can find the various (probably 3 - bolex to M39, M39 to M bayonet, M bayonet to SL) adapters. Whether it will work well and be worth the effort - no idea. If you mean 'can I set the camera to register in the EXIF 16mm' .... not specifically ..... but if the manual lens choice menu is available you can choose a similar focal length lens ..... but you may find it will add lens corrections which are inappropriate.

BernardC Posted October 20, 2017 Share #4 Posted October 20, 2017 That lens will not cover the sensor fully. You will see a circular image even in APS-C. That being said, you should be able to extract a useable HD image from the center of a 4k video. Bolex "reflex" (RX) lenses are designed for a viewfinder prism behind the lens, so you may not get the best image quality. A regular 16mm cine lens (for Arri, etc) should be fine, except for the required cropping.
