Suggesting a functional change to long press on BL, BR, TL, TR buttons

I would like to make some suggestions to expand the options available when long pressing any of the BL, BR, TL, TR buttons.

1. I hope that Leica might consider the following customisation.

Toggling stills/video mode via LV button allows the BL, BR, TL, TR buttons to be specific to stills/video settings.

That means that if I’m in stills mode. The BL, BR, TL, TR buttons should be specifically customisable for stills settings.

And if I’m in video mode. The BL, BR, TL, TR buttons should be specifically customisable for video settings.

2. I hope to also have the following possibilities, others may add their preferred pairing of the top dial and back click wheel. I suggesting these pairings because I hate waiting for the long press to take effect and I hope to change multiple settings at the same time. I think using the top dial and back click wheel is reasonably uncomplicated for a user. Attached is a jpg to explain my suggestion.

Long Press brings up pair of settings that can be changed via:

Suggested Pair 1

Top dial : ISO

Back Click wheel : Exposure compensation

Suggested Pair 2

Top dial : Manual flash / Autoflash / TTL (just a select few to speed execution)

Back Click wheel : Flash exposure compensation

Suggested Pair 3

Top dial : Video format / Resolution (just a select few to speed execution)

Back Click wheel : Video settings

Is this not possible with the user profiles? I have a couple of different sets of functions (for stills) via the profiles. I just make sure I use the same long press button to bring up the profiles so I can change them quickly.

Sorry. I don't have my SL's with me to check.

No, it's not  :)

I was thinking that the long press brings up only one variable to be adjusted with either the joystick or back click wheel. I just like to expand the options to have another variable that can be adjustable with the top dial. Hence the above image with Exposure compensation and ISO in a single screen. We have two controls back click wheel and top dial ( actually 3 if you include the joystick ) where we can directly control settings when we long press the soft buttons.
