Hi Alexei,

I had my 14423 batteries 2 years ago replaced at this place:

REW Elektronikgeräte-Verwertung
Mr. Manfred Wilhelm
Kleefeldstr. 10
D-06686 Lützen OT Pobles

Germany
Tel: 034441 23724
Fax: 034441 23734

http://www.it-dlfh.de

It´s an official (Leica certified) repair shop for DMR batteries as well as batteries for the R8/R9 motor drive.

They offered me a replacement with the original Sanyo cells but if you ask for higher capacity cells they can also do that.

However they informed me about a certain risk that the loading capacity will not be displayed correctly. I had two battery sets replaced- one with the original cells and one with more powerful cells and had no trouble so far with both.

Cost was around 70 Euros for each set as far as I remember.

Hope, this helps.

Regards,

Jens

Or have a look here:

So, if you know how to handle a screwdriver and a soldering iron you should be able to change the batteries by yourself.

Just get 8 AA NiMh with contact strip and put them accordingly together.....
