The bourbon rose  Zephirine Drouhin hybridized in France1868 growing on my front porch in Texas on a bright sunny spring morning.   

It is a perfect porch rose as it is very fragrant for visitors; yet, it is thornless, so it will not "grab" at them as they come on to the porch.

The final detail is from a free style arrangement. I laid texture over the framed segment of coral, pineapple and a rose. The artist used wonderfully contrasting materials.
