I have no idea what this is: just shot it on a walk with my Q. It's on a tree, and looks like it will be a flower--unless it is one of those pods that becomes a monster that devours the earth....

I'm not sure why this was cabled to the tree. Both tires were flat, the chain was rusted and nobody could ride off on it even if they wanted to.

This Bumble Bee got all the pollen it could from one purple cone flower, so moved on to another one.
