frame-it Posted October 1, 2017 Share #2 Posted October 1, 2017 its normal wide open in high contrast areas.... https://fstoppers.com/education/how-use-lightroom-hunt-down-chromatic-aberration-your-images-182365 https://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/159097-purple-fringe-problems-on-leica-m9/
jaapv Posted October 1, 2017 Share #3 Posted October 1, 2017 In LR go to "lens corrections" and use "defringe" Another way to get rid of it is to use the color replacement brush in Photoshop. This is quite normal for this type of lens in high-contrast situations. It is mainly axial chromatic aberration. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Purple_fringing

250swb Posted October 2, 2017 Share #6 Posted October 2, 2017 'Defringe' and the colour replacement brush are often used together to remove the very last traces.
