Collieslave Posted September 28, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 28, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a P300 but wish to purchase an older, more solid machine. What are the best options? I have read that those with the 'quick change' facility (which models have this?) can be a bit dodgy with mixed slide mounts or thin plastic mounts? Is this true? Remote focusing would be desirable. I would go for one with a Colorplan lens, of course. Any advice will be much appreciated!

M9reno Posted September 28, 2017 Share #2 Posted September 28, 2017 I'm very happy with my Pradovit CA2500. Modern bulbs still in production, good long cable remote, excellent Colorplan lens.

fotoism Posted October 4, 2017 Share #4 Posted October 4, 2017 I have an R150 and it's beautiful: cable controlled advance, reverse, focus, Colorplan 90/2.5. Not sure if this older than your P300.
