pedaes Posted September 26, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 26, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Tried to open LR CC but no Library. Looking at Preferences catologue is showing in correct place. If I try 'Open recent' catalogue shows but dosn't open. If I open with "Option" key held down (Mac) again catalogue shows but will not open. I ran 'Test integrated of catalogue' and nothing showed. If I try and open the Catalogue a "Click the "Import...``'' message appears. If I click import a "Please select a source" message appears - like to import images. Any ideas, Please? All images are in the correct place.
Advertisement Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Hi pedaes, Take a look here LR Catalogue will not open. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
LocalHero1953 Posted September 26, 2017 Share #2 Posted September 26, 2017 You'd be better off asking in the Adobe forum for a question like this.
Jeff S Posted September 26, 2017 Share #3 Posted September 26, 2017 Not clear if you're getting an error message, as below https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/lightroom-error-catalog-cannot-be-opened-lrcat-lock.html Jeff

Got fed up messing in the end, and dbl clicked on latest back-up of Catalogue and it opened straight away. I will just need to re-do a couple of images but probably quicker, and It is good to have it back up!
Jeff S Posted September 26, 2017 Share #5 Posted September 26, 2017 Indeed. I had the internal hard drive that holds my library crash this year, and got things back up and running with backups....along with incorporating some new Mac Pro innards. Good to keep at least one backup offsite. Jeff
