True Graham.

its a runaround/errands bike for the winter as well while I do some wotk on my Spotster (my current runaround/errands bike). It is a nice enough bike but I'm happier on my Harleys.

Never been there but am told that water can be sprayed all over the place. Was that an issue in using the camera around that area and preparing your shots?

No issue.

I keep small microfiber towel on top of while camera was not in use. I tend to always have it with me, in the bag.

And I'm one of the few who is smart enough to use protective filter and hood. 

Also, after 100+K exposures taken, I don't need much time for preparing :) 

Overall it was about twenty or less minutes in total. Not a big deal, comparing wet snow on several hours events, where I would never take any Leica.
