Thanks. I like it, up until recently I haven't had or used a 28mm for several years preferring 21mm for wide but with the M9 I wanted to have a WA that doesn't need an extra viewfinder. I'm happy I made the purchase. Not sure what version mine is though and I don't know how to check. Don't really care either to be honest it's a good sharp lens that focuses fine on my M9. It is nowhere near to checking map and gps thing. But you have to know how to do it right. I don't know your driving expirience. Mine is from Moscow to Helsinki non stop. And from Montréal to Toronto in NA winter blizzard. For business. Are you saying you never drove with directions printed or checking the map? It was the only way before GPS came out. It was illegal to stop on highway in LA and start to check map. You have to look at it constantly and be aware of where are you going.
