The Usual Suspects - I guess I am a "serial poster" when it comes to posting images from Leica gear. It's a real buzz to publish and show my photographs. I certainly wouldn't want to do something that spoiled others experience here. On my FB page I try not to bore people with too many train images so I regulate my postings. Lucky here there is a Train Page over on the German site.

I do not scroll around every thread and check all images. But I do notice a tendency by many participants here to take more or less the same kind of street-photo-shots. Of course "same" can be discussed and what may be called "same" may differ.
My notion is the tendency to copy rather than try not to copy.

Follow some independent, self-chosen path rather than the already crowded.

It’s one of my regular theme. I’m happy with one photo a day 🙂

NaAn, it is always a pleasure to see any of your inspiring and tasteful posts. I, myself, shoot a lot and could post ten pictures every day in any gallery of LUF; but would that be wise, respectful to other posters, helpful to myself, to this site, and most importantly to others; of course not!….!
I am here to learn, to be inspired and therefore; to improve my photography. I am sure many of us feel the same! So, why should I bore everyone with a bunch of posts that would certainly be a “nonsense” to everyone! …

I am grateful to LUF for  giving us the opportunity of posting our pictures; but since this is not my private website, I believe I must also respect other posters and to avoid annoying them. 😉🍷

Not my business of course, but sometimes I wonder why using exclusive, high-resolutive, high-performance and very expensive gear for the same kind of images as could be taken with a simple "point-and-shoot-camera".

By the way, I apply that thought to many of my own shots too.
It's hard, but I at least strive not be too influenced by others and do more or less the same thing myself.
That's why I'm not so very fond of inspiration from famous photographers. *)
According to the result of that ambition, one may question my success. 😆

*) Maybe weird and utterly strange, but that's approximately me. Of course, it's very nice to look at other persons fine photos, but not mainly for inspiration or to mimic, rather for just looking at them as what they are. 🙂

I shot this in my local area and didn't mean to crop his head out. It's probably for the best especially posted on other social media sites. M10M with 21 M Super Elmar

Thank you "dead boring" is correct, especially when the images themselves are mostly the same and do not appear to have been post edited. In my older age however, sometimes I have to check my attachments to see if I have already posted a certain image as I do not want to post it twice. I have even asked moderators to delete duplications of said images however sometimes I inadvertently post the same image twice, much to my dislike for such a thing.

Ken

We are all different, PP is personal, if, an image of a MB G Wagon is offered in 2 different Threads, I see no reason to change the image as long as it’s within the guidelines! 🍷
