This thread is suffering from overposting by a few members; I have hidden some posts. It is a an unwritten convention that we leave space for other participants. The reason is twofold: Overposting drowns out the other posts and, as important, if one floods a thread, the viewers lose interest and won't even look at those posts any more. I’m still trying to figure out what street photography actually is, but this is my first attempt.  SL2-S, 50mm APO Summicron-SL

In so far as it has a definition, IMO you have already figured it out. Nicely done.

Again, IMO, the genre is a bit pointless in that so much stuff that could be grouped with 'so called' Street Photography, probably is not. I quote my own work in this instance. Consequently I often post under 'Other' to save me the mental anguish making a pointless decision. 🤪

Great shot!

I love everything about this composition:

-Lighting is absolutely perfect

-The arms extended in opposite direction

-The subtle side tilt of her head

-The framing with neon sign

-Even the car and its position even though I normally try to exclude cars from prominent position in the frame

-Subject is clearly attractive but there’s a hint of personality in the image

-Skin tone is spot on. SL2-S  clearly shines in this department

-Square format suits the composition 

What more can I say…I really like this capture :)

Thanks Nicholas, I thought it was pretty good for a quick candid capture, one of three frames as I tracked the subject. I guess I could have tried the new Remove tool on the car. I wasn't happy with the car but everything else was good so it didnt bother me too much. I like the earthy colour of her outfit blending with the foreground, it worked.
