What do we photograph on the streets?

Totally awesome! Noticing a Fibonacci spiral fractal means that you must certainly know of Darren Aronofsky‘s Pi. A fraction of a second sooner or later, you would not have had the shot. Perfect! The play of light against dark and the decidedly three-dimensional effect with the pathway on the left against the tunnel on the right with a transit of your bicyclist makes this a really dynamic composition, iconic.

Thanks very much, Ernst, for the kind and insightful critique.

Glasgow, Scotland. The railway bridge I shot this from, and the Titan crane in the background (built in 1911) were both manufactured by the once mighty Arrols. Both are now disused, although the crane has been retained as a tourist attraction. The waste ground the crane stands on was the site of the John Brown shipyard where many famous ships, including the QE2, were built.

Wow!  That's a once in a lifetime photograph.

That's like a Jerry Uelsmann photograph but with one exposure.  Very surreal.  Can't stop looking at it.

Well done, Colin!

Have been thinking more about Colin's most recently posted photograph.  In fact, it took me a long time to go to sleep last night because there was something disturbingly familiar about it, which finally came to me after about an hour of looking at the photograph in my mind.  It is a contemporary Derriere la Gare St. Lazarre.
