One of the three dry docks in Govan, Glasgow. Now flooded and abandoned. When the docks were built - in the 19th century - they could accommodate the largest ships in the world. They are formed of hand-carved grey granite. The workmanship, and the dereliction, are impressive in equal measure. The docks stand in mute testament to a time when Glasgow was a global industrial powerhouse.
