If there isn't anything on the street to photograph - then just take a picture of the street itself.

Caught this frame on the way home this morning. I thought I missed it and was bending my camera around with hope. SL2S with Summilux M 28

Great! Someone looking at a paper and not at a damned phone!
Next step in the right direction is someone looking at the surroundings.
😄

Thanks! an unusual scene these days for sure! 😅

Yes! I think it's a little worrying. I mean, what can be the more or less indirect consequences of all this constant phone-staring?
Not at all mainly regarding physical accidents of colliding people, cars or the like, but merely regarding mentality and abilities to think and reflect.
I hope i am over-worrying...

Fashion Street - "The girls" are often seen in the city; it's a small city and one gets to know everyone else who loves and frequents the city. One works hard for images but they are always available.

This thread is suffering from overposting by a few members; I have hidden some posts. It is a an unwritten convention that we leave space for other participants.

The reason is twofold:
Overposting drowns out the other posts and, as important, if one floods a thread, the viewers lose interest and won't even look at those posts any more. It is equivalent to hogging a conversation.

So:
Please don't make endless posts with a large number of images, they are deadly boring, and don't post more than three or four images per day.

On a side note, best not to link to Flickr and similar. The links get broken all too often, losing the images for the forum and creating empty posts.

If things get out of hand, moderation will step in; this is not a hosting site.

I totally agree and have blocked several members the last months too. This message counts in my view also for the nasty habit of posting the same image in two different threads.
