McDonald's food for thought. Steve Jobs's ubiquitous iPhone theme: "Alone together." Perceptive, thematically linked snaps. The first two surveilled conversations with someone beyond the photograph. Intimations of the unheard. Are we to decipher the chatter of paranoia in today's world? IPhone chatter? Where has innocence gone? The third photograph?

You allude to space and voice beyond the perimeter of the photograph itself. Even though your photographs are artifacts of the past, they seem to chatter with a voice of what is next without knowing what it is.

Thanks for sharing. Just as Beresford says, "crisp." Keep working at what you are doing. The second photograph puzzles me because I'm stretching for content, but the first photograph is such an insinuation. "What are you doing with that camera there?" IPhone in hand. Did you ever see "Hud"? James Wong Howe's cinematography?

I looked and last three have classy BW, I looked more and it was surprising to see it was M9. I have no idea why do you need another cameras for the street another day :).

MR Ko

I no longer have the M9. I liked the M9 it was my first Leica camera but with deteriorating eyesight I gave that up for a M240 to also give that up for a Leica S006.........love the big veofinder of the S camera system. So now my Street photography gear is the S007 and my new TL2.........havent tried that one yet but will do on Thursday night when I get off this bloody Oil Rig :) :)

Neil, I was born in KL and I grew up in KL. I return every year. I recognize some of those locations in your photographs. It has never occurred to me that KL is an interesting location for street photography, probably because I am so used to it. But now that I have seen your pictures, I realize that there is an interesting story to tell. Thank you so much for your photos, they really do speak to me. I mean it.
