Taken at the Black Country Museum in Dudley, located in the UK's Midlands. The area is known as the Black Country because of all the heavy industry which took place there during the early 1900's.

Leica SL with the 24-90 lens.

Amazing picture Tom - itill curious about the rendering of the background.

Is this the normal output of the lens or did you use a special filter ?

Firstly, thanks for your kind comment. The background is the normal output; the shot was taken wide open and the background is the bricks behind the forge, which were very sooty.

Cheers, Tom
