Hi Dave,

Thanks :) ....but not my kitchen, the little hut is my brother's accommodation for his summer hols on the Monaro. It began life around 1850 as a stockman's cottage.

 

They were tough back then, it's basic weatherboard construction and uninsulated, impossible to heat adequately for a Monaro winter and yet generations of the same family

lived in it for more than 100 years, without complaint. 

 

I walked over this morning to make sure the roof was still attached after the damaging wind we've had, must say I didn't notice the Queen in the kitchen, but if she's there

it would be because my brother has a cynical sense of humour.
