Hola Depaco!

Si quieres una Messsucher, te recomendo la M8.2.

Si quieres autofocus (bastante lento), WiFi, mas pixeles,  algo mas moderno y mas economico comprate una T.

Saludos. :)

hanks for coming and commenting.

They say that original M8 behaves better for Black and White.

What is true in all this?

You are trying to compare two absolutely different cameras. One is true and classic rangefinder. If RF is in your soul and vision, M8 is true RF.

Another is classic digital P&S. If you only need Leica logo and prefer P&S for shooting, go for T. But check first, it was recall on T or something.

M8 behaves amazingly good at low ISO with color, BTW.

M8.2 has more accurate frame lines at long to medium distance and its shutter (in fact motor) noise is less loud. Not a quiet camera though and M8 and M8.2 have a lot of digital noise above 640 iso. You may like this in black and white but in color, 1250 iso is the limit in my experience as an M8.2 user. Also both M8 and M8.2 need IR-cut filters for color works but you know this i guess already.

Do you wish to shoot in Auto Focus mode sometimes?  If the answer is yes, then a T is a good choice.

The T is very versatile especially if you have older lenses you'd like to adapt to use on it or have M lenses already. It is also cheaper if you buy a used T, and a newer camera than the M8 (obviously) which means less chances of things going wrong with it.  Have a look at the T section of this forum and see the types of photos it takes. There is some great work over there.

I have a T now and have also owned a M8 a few times.  I'd love another M8 if funds allow it, but for now the versatility of the T works for me and its super fun to use.

Have fun choosing!

Hola:

Después de mucho pensamiento, decidí comprar M8.

Tomando Leica D-lux109 y V-lux114, comprar T, no parecía lógico.

Genuine Leica batteries (14464) can be found more or less easily for about 110 EUR. Here for instance: https://www.amazon.es/Leica-Lithium-Ion-Battery-14464/dp/B000UA0JMO.

Third party batteries (BLI-312) are less expensive (about 20 EUR). See for instance https://www.amazon.es/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?__mk_es_ES=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&url=search-alias%3Delectronics&field-keywords=BLI-312.
Beware that third party batteries for M8 and M8.2 need to be fully discharged before recharging them, failing which you may get false meter readings on the camera.
