What fisheye lens for T?

I loved playing with a Samyang 7.5mm Fisheye on my old OMD cameras and would like a fun aka 'cheap' Fisheye to pop on the T.

 

Does anyone hear have any experience with Fishes on the T if so, what did you use?

 

Happy to see photo examples too!  Speaking of such, here's an example from my old system - non Leica, hope thats not breaking rules.

So I've performed some research, I haven't found any T users with Fisheye lenses so far (haven't combed Flickr yet tho).

 

From a 'cheap' standpoint I could try the Zenitar 15mm F1.8 M42 mount and get an adapter to M mount then to T.

 

Also I've found a few M users loving the Olympus OM 16mm 3.5 Fisheye - its a nifty compact looking lens and some lovely examples of shots online from this one. 

 

And if I really wanted to splash out (I don't)  - The Leica R 16mm 2.8 Fisheye

I have a Samyang 14mm F2.8 Nikon fit which I use quite regularly, I have a Nikon to Leica adapter that I will use later on on the year to use this lens. will let you know how it goes on the T.

But they are full frame lenses and the T is an APS-C format with a 1.5x crop factor … so any FF lens' focal length would increase by a factor of 1.5x e.g. the 15mm Zenitar would be 22.5mm and 16mm would be 24mm … without the full fisheye effect. I have a Minolta MC FF 16mm fisheye and an adapter which should enable use on the T; when I have time I'll try it and post the type of image possible but it will not be a full fisheye effect . You could consider a 'Lens Baby' APS-C fisheye in e.g. a Nikon mount and adapt it to Leica T mount   https://lensbaby.com/CFE-crop-comparison/    (but I have not investigated this thoroughly and not sure if it would work … note the illustrations show effect with 1.6 Canon crop and not 1.5 Nikon crop ) … or, depending on which lenses you're using currently with your T, find a 'fisheye converter' on Ebay or Amazon which screws into a wide angle lens' filter thread but they are a bit cheap and cheerful and you'll likely get what you pay for i.e. 'not great' results.  There are other APS-C format fisheye lenses but they are not 'budget price' … unless you are lucky and find a cheaper secondhand example.   If you only want a few occasional fisheye images you best bet is to buy a secondhand micro four thirds camera,  and a secondhand Olympus M4/3 9mm 'body cap' fisheye lens … the lens sells for approx £90 new and £60 to £70 s/h  https://www.lcegroup.co.uk/Used/Olympus-9mm-f/8-fisheye_189879.html   … and it's possible to buy a s/h M4/3 camera for £50  http://www.ffordes.com/product/17070415324081  … or  …   https://www.lcegroup.co.uk/Used/Panasonic-Lumix-G1-Body_190385.html   but you'd likely have to set a Panasonic M4/3 camera to 'shoot without lens' mode because the 'fixed focus' Olympus 'body cap' fisheye has no electronic contacts   http://www.photographyblog.com/reviews/olympus_9mm_f_8_fisheye_body_cap_review/

I once had a Nikon FE 10.5mm which is made for dx. could be a good choice for the t, its quite small.
