What jaapv is saying. No need to send the camera for something that simple, unless you're hoping for a free checkup of the camera😁.

I was glad that I found my lever in the bag and after after 'losing' it three times I used a bit of Loctite, and it's 'stuck' on the camera ever since.

A dab of clear nail polish will do the trick unless you already have some thread lock.
