Hi Everyone,

 

Is it possible to set the exposure (time, aperture, iso) and the white balance manually in video mode?

The manual says:

"The automatic exposure control takes all brightness fluctuations into consideration. If you do not want this, e.g. for landscape pictures and pan shots, you should set the shutter speed manually. "

I tried but I can't. It doesn't matter what I set in photo mode the video mode always set another white balance and automatically adjust brightness wile I record and the exposure is way off.

 

My other question is is it possible to lower the sharpening and the contrast in video mode? I found the final video is very over sharpened and has very high contrast.

I found the video was overly sharpened as well. I hope there's a way for me to change the sharpness setting , just like my X-T2

With my Leica T, I have tryed to shot video manually. I set shutter, aperture and ISO manually, but when I shot video and move camera from a dark are to lighter are the Leica T change change the lightning automaticly. I think the ISO increase up and down even I have set it to manually to ISO200. I am not shure - is not possible to lock ISO ?

 

My Leica T have newest firmware.

I have the newest firmware on my TL2 1.1 and I can not find any way to record video in manual mode (without auto EV compensation). I read the manual several times and I think the manual is wrong, because it refers the manualo settings or this is firmware issue.

 

Is there anybody who can record video with the T or TL or TL2 without automatic EV compensation?

What is the point of video with auto exposure? It always looks terrible when settings change in the middle of the video.

When recording video it switches to auto EV compensation with current firmware 1.9

Would be great to see this fixed in a firmware update if possible. Also tried various methods of locking exposure without success.

Don’t hold your breath. No firmware update since October 2018... 
Seems like Leica already gave up this camera.

Does anyone still use their Leica T? I love mine but I wish it had more manual controls for video.
