tobey bilek Posted August 14, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 14, 2017 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Should I replace mine at my expense wile they are available? I have been able to keep mine clean so far with compressor + filtered airbrush which has no more power than a "Rocket" and using a lens pen + lighted magnifier. Advertisement Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Hi tobey bilek, Take a look here Replace good sensor. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pedaes Posted August 14, 2017 Share #2 Posted August 14, 2017 I have not read any suggestion that they will 'run out' of sensors, and would expect the new supplier to be there for the long term. I would save your money, as you may never need a replacement. It is not a given that they all fail.

DandA Posted August 14, 2017 Share #5 Posted August 14, 2017 I may be mistaken, but I think in one of Leica's recent statements, they mentioned the option to change out a sensor that exhibits no corrosion, is not available, even as a paid service...at least not at this time.
