jeronomo Posted August 14, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 14, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Which D-Lux camera should invest in, a D-Lux 5 with an electronic viewfinder or a D-Lux 6 without it?
Advertisement Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Hi jeronomo, Take a look here Which is preferred?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lct Posted August 14, 2017 Share #2 Posted August 14, 2017 (edited) I have no experience with either but the EVF of the D-Lux 5 must be way outdated. AFAIC i would choose a... second hand Panasonic LX100. Clone of the D-Lux 109 with built-in EVF. Would give you much more for hardly more money. FWIW. ECohen Posted August 14, 2017 Share #3 Posted August 14, 2017 The one that's in the sest condition. "invest" is not the correct word
Skyring Posted September 1, 2017 Share #4 Posted September 1, 2017 Neither has an EVF. I had a D-Lux 5 for a little while. Good lens, but hard to control it with the lousy viewscreen. Nailing focus is tricky. The D-Lux 6 is better, with a faster lens, better screen, and another control wheel, and would be a nice camera.I have a D-Lux (Typ 109), which has an EVF and a brilliant control set-up. Coupled with an aftermarket grip and the auto lens cap, it's a very nice camera indeed. An excellent travel companion for my Q.
