Volbeat Posted August 7, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 7, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm looking for a bit of help because I'm really struggling to find a well-specced laptop. And the weak point is the screen. I've become very aware of the limits of my MacBook Air but my 2 work (not photography) computers are a Lenovo Windows 8 and an HP Windows 7 Professional. I'm open to Mac or Windows. Am I correct in thinking that my Leica T is producing images with a depth of colour significantly beyond the limits of my MBA? Does anyone know of current laptop offering a 14" - 16" screen, better than FHD resolution, IPS and with a high colour gamut? Or do you just have to use a desktop monitor to get colour accuracy? Cheers,

jankap Posted August 7, 2017 Share #2 Posted August 7, 2017 What about connecting a separate monitor to your MacBook? Jan
Chuck Albertson Posted August 9, 2017 Share #3 Posted August 9, 2017 I'm taking delivery this week of a Lenovo X1 Carbon. It runs Win10, but only because Win7 wasn't an option. I paid extra for the 14" WQHD/1440p display, which is supposed to be the dog's bollocks of notebook screens. I'll let you know.
