chevy Posted July 27, 2017 Share #1 Posted July 27, 2017 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) My Voightlander Heliar 15 mm. f/4.5 Version III works very well on my M240 and with a simple mechanical adapter also on the Sony a 7RII I'm thinking of buying the 12 mm. Heliar f/5.6. The Version III of that lens is about 300$ US more expensive than the Version II. Will the VII work well on these cameras (no "Italian flag") or do I need the Version III? Thanks for you comments. Edited July 28, 2017 by chevy
Advertisement Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Hi chevy, Take a look here 12 mm. Voightlander Lens For M240. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
rramesh Posted July 28, 2017 Share #2 Posted July 28, 2017 The older voigtlanders did produce the occasional red edges on Leica M9. The new Voigtlanders 10, 12, 15 do not. Anyway even with the older ones, red edges can be fixed with Corner Fix.
justj Posted July 28, 2017 Share #3 Posted July 28, 2017 The vm 12mm II works extremely well with Sony A7R II. It's ok with M240 after flat field plugin applied in lightroom. Probably the only M mount lens I tried that performs better on a Sony camera than on a Leica M. A7R II M240
