reddot925 Posted July 27, 2017 Share #1 Posted July 27, 2017 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi guys, My summilux aspherical (aa)'s rangefinder focus would go pass infinity by a little, it doesn't affect image quality as far as I can tell. I'm sending other things to Leica to repair, do you suggest this is an issue to fix as well? Thank you for your input! Fgcm Posted July 28, 2017 Share #2 Posted July 28, 2017 Hi Reddot, on a 35 I would not be neurotic about this. Ciao Franco
michaelwj Posted July 28, 2017 Share #3 Posted July 28, 2017 On the other hand, I would want a lens as valuable as the AA to be perfect. And then on the other hand I wouldn't want to go messing with a lens as valuable as the AA without a very good reason. I know I haven't helped

TRIago Posted July 29, 2017 Share #5 Posted July 29, 2017 I expect all my Leica gear to be perfect. It's a lot of cash, so it has to be working properly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

tamas Posted July 29, 2017 Share #8 Posted July 29, 2017 Reddot hello, I have the same issue with mine by about 1mm. It irks me a little especially as the hood is such a perfect fit and line up spot on. However it doe not irk me enough to bother sending it off. I also have the same issue on my 75 Cron, and rigid to a lesser degree. My 135 is OK though. On the pother point read. Should that not be To Infinity and beyond? Sounds like a Star Trekkie type saying
tamas Posted July 29, 2017 Share #9 Posted July 29, 2017 Ah! sorry, re-reading post. I miss read it as referring to the aperture ring.
enboe Posted July 29, 2017 Share #10 Posted July 29, 2017 I always use mine when photographing Buzz Lightyear - "to infinity, and beyond!". Eric
