Advertisement Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 Hi tonyniev, Take a look here I mounted a new CV 15 III on th eM10 and the EXIF is saying 21 mm,. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jdlaing Posted July 21, 2017 Share #2 Posted July 21, 2017 What was the last lens you had on the camera before the CV? Do you have lens detection set to off in the menu?
pico Posted July 21, 2017 Share #3 Posted July 21, 2017 In my experience, turn off lens recognition, and in your post processing choose lens correction for the 15mm.

jdlaing Posted July 25, 2017 Share #6 Posted July 25, 2017 when I turn off it has no lens focal lenght in EXIF. It won't unless you can pick it from the menu (it's not available) or it is detected by the six bit code. Turning it off at least removes the erroneous lens focal length.
jdlaing Posted July 25, 2017 Share #7 Posted July 25, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) One thing you can do if you shoot a lot of 15mm pics is use an exif editor and batch process the lot to add whatever lens you want to the exif.
pico Posted July 29, 2017 Share #8 Posted July 29, 2017 I wrote, "In my experience, turn off lens recognition, and in your post processing choose lens correction for the 15mm." when I turn off it has no lens focal lenght in EXIF. Misunderstanding, Tony. In post processing, at least in Adobe, there is an option to apply lens correction, and one of the options is Leicas AG, 15mm lens. I shoot 10mm and 15mm without any in-camera corrections. It is all done in post-processing. Example: This pops up. Orange shows chosen filter.
