I have my M9P for sensor replacement in Leica Germany. They finished it and stated "Pending for shipment" since 5-Jul-2017. I emailed them and they told me to wait for document preparation. I am not in rush to get my M9p back. However, I just want to make sure it is not lost or unsuccessful delivery, without knowing it is shipped. Will Leica send shipment notification or tracking code to end customer? Is it common to wait for 2 weeks without sending out? Thank you. There is also a possibility that the shipping department is as overtaxed by the sensor tsunami as the rest of Customer Service. I emailed them a couple of weeks ago to enquire about my repair and was informed it was done and would take a week to ship. I don't expect them to notify me of shipping, should I? The tracking system shows Pending Shipment for quite a while, and one day the UPS box arrived at my door. I called Leica CS and they told me that the camera is still in factory, waiting for documents. Same status as in last week. They also told me that there is not tracking code will be provided. Just flat & block number, then put my family name as part of the address... I suppose to have 2 items from Leica because I have my M9P and MM to repair together. They have two different repair numbers... It is friday night and I cannot contact Leica to confirm it. I wish they are in the same parcel, finger crossed. Aguilera85 Posted July 21, 2017 Share #9 Posted July 21, 2017 I sent my M9 in mid May, and barely got the repair order for sensor replacement approximately June 8th. I received a UPS shipping notification email yesterday with tracking already. I'm set to receive something this Monday. Does that mean they already got a good supply of Sensor replacements?
