Leica Mayfair cannot sort the issue, say camera would need to go to Germany - cannot be without the camera three months as otherwise works fine. Have identified the issue is to do with the camera as the grip tethers fine to my laptop if connected to another Leica M240. With my M240, the SCA connector works fine, but GPS greyed out and tethering does not work. I can live with no tethering although not ideal, using the EVF for viewing shots - but curious if anyone else had this problem? Camera firmware, Mac OS and Image Shuttle are all up to date as advised by Leica. Is there any way I can do a hard reboot of the M240 - maybe this would stir it into action? Connector looks fine, no dust, damage or dirt, seems like a good connection. SCA works so clearly the camera is talking to the grip.
