I bought the camera in 1981 from the original purchaser who had all the lenses and their red boxes which I have since sold. I shall keep the camera but I would dearly like to know if the box is still out there. Leica AG told me that it would have the serial number written on the bottom of the box. i do not wish to buy the box but just interested to know if it is around still..
