Altho there is a copy of it (From this Forum.) in the Big WIKI in the sky. Does anyone know anything about this?Best Regards, Michael
Advertisement Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 Hi Michael Geschlecht, Take a look here Whatever happened to the Stemar in the WIKI?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
luigi bertolotti Posted June 16, 2017 Share #2 Posted June 16, 2017 (edited) Strange... maybe there was some minor maintenance on forum' site in course, when you searched... as of now, I easily locate it in Forum's Wiki... https://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-wiki.en/index.php/Stemar Edited June 16, 2017 by luigi bertolotti
Michael Geschlecht Posted June 16, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted June 16, 2017 (edited) Hello Luigi, That is the same page from this WIKI that I found when I looked for the lens on Google. When I went to this Forum's WIKI, both yesterday & just now:I looked for the lens under both bayonet mount & screw mount lenses & could not find it. Did you find the lens by "clicking" the WIKI at the top of this page & then looking under either bayonet mount or screw mount lenses? Or, did you search another way? Understanding that the photo shows the lens on a bayonet mount camera. Best Regards, Michael Edited June 16, 2017 by Michael Geschlecht

Michael Geschlecht Posted June 19, 2017 Author Share #5 Posted June 19, 2017 Hello Luigi, When I clicked the WIKI at the top of this page & then went to both M lenses & screw mount lenses & clicked up the index: There was no Stemar in either. Would you like to try doing the same thing to see what you find?Best Regards, Michael
luigi bertolotti Posted June 19, 2017 Share #6 Posted June 19, 2017 Yes... indeed is not in any list of lenses... and Stemar has the full right to be included into... you can register into Wiki community of contributors and make some proposal about (I don't know exactly the process...years ago wasn't complicated, and I gave a small contribution evidencing an error about..uh.. don't remember which lens...) ... there still are some marginal errors in the Wiki... mostly on pictures (like this one : https://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-wiki.en/index.php/Summicron_(II)_f%3D_9_cm_1:2 ... a Summicron ver. I, not a ver. II, is depicted at right...)
Michael Geschlecht Posted June 19, 2017 Author Share #7 Posted June 19, 2017 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello Luigi, The interesting thing is that the Page that comes up when you search for "Stemar" on Google LOOKS like a page from the Leica WIKI. And: 1 of the Posts in the Threads accessed is from you. Best Regards, Michael Edited June 19, 2017 by Michael Geschlecht
