Black stripe at faster shutter speed

HI.

I was playing with my Q last night and noticed images taken with higher ( faster) speed shutter showing black stripe.

I didn't use flash. and used both center spotted and area metering.

Is this normal or something wrong with the camera?

I'm very concerned about this.

thank you in advance.

Fluorescent or LED lighting frequency (the lights flicker at high speeds to achieve a certain brightness). It's being captured by the higher shutter speed. It happens on all cameras.

+1, Exactly right.
