Well, as is often the case, I haven't found what I am looking for yet, but whilst searching I did come across a nice 90mm Elmar-M from 1955. That does at least complete the trifecta for my M2, I'll just have to keep looking for an LTM version. :)

I realize this is a year old thread, but thought I'd throw in my 2 cents.  The f/4 90 is a lovely lens (mine is collapsible), and, after messing around with faster 90s, extremely practical.  Focusing 90mm on a rangefinder, especially at 2.8 or wider, is not terribly reliable, as the depth of field is very thin and the frame very small (non-existent in the old Barnaks).  F/4 is about as wide as I'd ever want to go without, say, the Live View of the M10.  Of course, if you're just looking for reach and locked in at infinity, that's a different story.

I've found that for a long, walk-around lens, the CV 75 is a terrific, fairly compact, LTM alternative. Sharp, contrasty, and not too large, it gives you an extra stop, nice reach, and is fairly light.

I'd also like to add my enthusiasm for the Summar - it's sitting in front of me now, mounted on my M10.  Just love the way it renders on my digital bodies.

Good shooting.

I was in the same boat, looking for an LTM 90mm lens or something close - after some researching I decided to try a non Leica LTM lens this time ie the "legendary" Nikkor 10.5cm f2.5.

Some don't like the long focus throw (doesn't bother me). It weighs about 500gms (lot of glass) & is reasonably compact (I have a coated version). I'm loving it. Fits well with the Barnacks ie ergonomically IMHO

Also, it works well with 90mm viewfinders so you don't have to search for a 100/105mm viewfinder.

They're quite easy to pick up - always a few of the LTM versions are available on ebay (mainly from Japan).

I seem to like 90mm lenses, though I don't use them enough.

A clean classic screw 90mm Elmar will be good to use and quite light in weight, even a black pre-war uncoated one.

I had both 85mm and 105mm Nikons but they were heavy and not for everyday use.

The Leitz New York Velostigmat is nice and a bit different to the German Elmar.

I have a screw fit f2.8 Elmarit which is a bit bigger than the f4 Elmar and not as common to find, but better than the Elmar if you can find one.

I also have a 105mm Trinol which is different again.

Start with a 90mm Elmar (which I think you have done) and add more !

Here are some pictures of them, one or two are M fit in the picture, plus a 21mm and 28mm pictured with the Trinol.

That's a nice collection. I have the one on the right in M mount, I just bought the one on the left in LTM. I now have 35, 50 and 90 for my IIIa. Next I may start looking for a 28mm for my III.
