LHSA - The International Leica Society Announces its 2017 Photo Contest:

The theme for 2017 is "documentary". This is defined as a single photograph of an un-staged situation that has a high human interest element and/or a fresh view of an everyday scene. 

Three winners will be chosen. First place will receive a Leica D-Lux (Typ 109), second place a Leica Sofort, and third place a copy of the book, "Unposed" by Craig Semetko.

Judging will be headed by Nicholas Pinto, a featured speaker at the LHSA Annual Meeting in Chicago in October. Winners will be provided free registration to the Annual Meeting and celebrated during the program!

Photos do not need to have been taken with a Leica  You do not need to be a Leica Society member to participate.

  • Deadline to enter is 4 PM CST on September 8, 2017. The cost is $20 per entry and you can submit two entries.
