Sunset over the ledges and tower at Kimmeridge Bay, in Dorset (UK). Kimmeridge Bay is a place rich of photographic opportunities, both for the wide vistas and for detail work (coming soon).

There was an Antony Gormley sculpture here for a while until it fell victim to the sea. I think the Landmark Trust (who own the habitable tower visible in Vieri's photo) reinstated it until a boulder knocked it down for a second time and they promptly gave up.

Yes indeed, and apparently Sir Antony was "thrilled" that the sculpture had been toppled since it showed its relationship with the elements, or something like that :) Me, I am "photographically agnostic" about its presence: I understand it might have served as a focal point for a composition, but on the other hand I prefer natural landscapes to look as natural as possible, so I am fine either way. For instance, at Kimmeridge I am happy about the tower as a point of interest in the composition, but much less happy about the slightly cluttered housings below it on the coast line... but again, that's just me :)

Best regards,
