Stepping Into The Frame

In the Ross Coulter exhibition at the NGV, which depicts multiple audiences staring at unseen exhibitions (actually posed without any exhibits) I felt like setting this couple in their own frame as "add-ons" to the main exhibit.

Lovely leading lines, and an interesting concept.

The gallery presentation standard seems a bit odd...

Thanks PJ. Yes, the prints were unmounted and curling at the edges. I assume it was deliberate, but I also thought it a bit odd, especially when seeing the Bill Henson exhibition in the adjoining room. A tremendous amount of time and thought went into that exhibition with specially designed lighting and the room painted entirely black to highlight the prints. beautifully presented.
