TIV Posted May 23, 2017 Share #1 Posted May 23, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) My M9 sensor has started to corrode. There are spots at the same place on every photo I take. They are exactly like the spots on the lower left half and the upper right half of the attached photo. How is the procedure of having the sensor replaced? Contact the only Leica dealer in my country, contact Leica Germany or send it to Leica Germany? Thanks TIV Welcome, dear visitor! TIV Posted May 24, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted May 24, 2017 Then I´d better do something about it now. Does Leica have a customer service that can be contacted by email?

TIV Posted May 30, 2017 Author Share #5 Posted May 30, 2017 I took the M9 to a Leica dealer in Reykjavík who confirmed that corrosion was evident. He has sent the body to Leica Germany.
