This thread is for posting photos from the Leica Melbourne One Challenge weekend by those who attended.  Now that the judging is completed it's time we had a place to show our other photos that weren't entered.  (The results can be found at this link and all of the entries can be found in the Events and Member Meetings' subforum under the appropriately-named thread.)  This thread is intended to be not just for those pictures that you decided did not quite make the 'entry cut' for the challenges but is also for any shot from the weekend that you'd like to share.

It would be helpful if you'd say which ones were considered for either the day or night challenges and lots of people are interested in the camera and lens used so it would be helpful if you would very kindly include those too please.

We're all interested in the 'other' shots so please post away! :)

Pete.

Here's one to get us started:

I considered this one for the Night Challenge.

Great stuff guys!

I have always said the best images get edited out!

Why does that happen?

I must scramble through my files to see if I had time to shoot anything.

I will post what I find, soon (after I compile and post the list of names V''s entries for Pete (and others). :p

Hi Pete, missed this line, sorry. All photos taken with Leica M3 (single stroke, transitional) from 1958. Kodak Ektar 100, home developed by yours truly. All taken with Summarit 50mm f/2.5 except "Melbourne" which used the 135mm APO-Telyt.

Only Chloe  ( I think I love her) and The Graffiti Repairers were taken during the challenge for my pics.

The rest were during a thoroughly enjoyable weekend of shootin'. But all with Summicron 50mm f2 ltm built 1952...same age as moi.

cheers Pete..
